The cause of this issue has finally been determined to be a hardware issue, and Microsoft claims that only a small percentage of machines have Microsoft Surface Pro 4 i5 processor 8GB Ram No screen flicker issues thats common on the pro 4 series. Only thing is sometimes the touch screen is a bit u.That's what I followed. It's a horrible process, but I did get a new one eventually (refurbished). The normal process is, after they determine that you are eligible for a replacement, you send your surface away and then once they receive it, you will get a new one.Surface Pro 4 suffers from a design flaw named 'Flickergate', which describes exactly what happens: The screen flickers.
